Lesson 6 - Learn Hindi vowels part 6
In this lesson we will see vowels with base shape of S.
They are इ(e as in ship) and ई(ee as in sheep).
The vowel signs are
क - कि
ka - ke
क - की
ka - kee
कीमत - keemat - worth/cost
किस - what /whose
यह किस का रुमाल है? yeh kis kaa rumaal hai? whose handkerchief is this?
यह - yeh - this
रुमाल - rumaal - handkerchief
है - hai - is
In Hindi the word order is subject object verb.
यह किस का _______ है?
yeh kis kaa ________ hai?
Replace the _______ with the following words.
kalam, gulaab, pencil, scool, kamraa, kamal
yeh kis kaa kalam hai?
यह किस का कलम है? kalam - pen
यह किस का गुलाब है? gulaab - rose
यह किस का पेंसिल है? pencil - pencil
यह किस का स्कूल है? scool - skool
यह किस का कमरा है? kamraa - room
यह किस का कमल है? kamal - lotus
And the finally the three remaining vowels are ए(a) ऐ(ai) ऋ(Ru) and the vowel signs are
क - के
ka - ke
क - कै
ka - kai
क - कृ
ka - kRu
That's the end of all vowels.
So the vowels in order are as follows
